Just returned from a 3-week photo/writing adventure that included San Francisco, Guatemala, and southern Mexico. The shooting required a digital camera for use in very low light so I took along a Nikon D3, which I have reviewed in another post.
To see a casual series of shots from San Fran, click here.
These shots were all hand-held using an 80-400, 35, and 55mm Nikkor lenses. The low light shots were shot at 2000-plus ASA, and there is little or no noise in any of them. Nikon has truly set the standard with the new D3, and will likely set it again with the upcoming D3x.
ciao for now.
